A short documentary with the life of Lebron James is showing the American professional basketball’s player ride, the red Ferrari 458 Spider.
When talking about celebrities and their rides, most of them prefer to get new hybrid or electric vehicles, such as the Tesla Model S, but athletes are in a different category. For example, Lebron James is driving a customized Ferrari 458 Spider. The supercar has received a customized paint job, a chromed red, and we have to admit that it looks pretty amazing. The Ferrari 458 Spider is the convertible version of the 458 Italia and it has been introduced back in 2011, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. It has an aluminum retractable hardtop which weighs 25 kg less than the soft roof found on its predecessor, the F430 Spider and it can be lowered in 14 seconds. Power is being provided by the same 4.5 liter V8 engine from the 458 Italia, which is rated at 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes as much as the hardtop but top speed has been lowered at “just” 320 km/h (199 mph).
At least 10 million vehicles were recalled by Toyota back in 2009 and 2010 for the “unintended acceleration” issue and so far GM has made 67 separate recall actions with almost 30 million vehicles due back in service.
