Auto Express has recently tested the Alfa Romeo 4C and the Italian sports car has been pinned together with one of its main rivals, the Porsche Cayman. The results of the video are quite surprising but we won’t be spoilers and tell you all about them. The Alfa Romeo 4C is taking its power from a 1.75 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 240 HP (180 kW), at 6,000 rpm, and 350 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 4.5 seconds in the 4C and top speed stands at 258 km/h (160 mph). The average fuel consumption in the small Italian sports car stands at 6.8 liters every 100 km (42 mpg UK / 35 mpg US). Another 1.8 liter unit, with 300 HP (221 kW) has been confirmed for the 4C and it will come on the model soon.
