The upcoming and highly-anticipated Bugatti Chiron hypercar, expected to officially debut in front of the worldwide audience during the Geneva motor show in March 2016, has been spied yet again.
But to make matters more interesting this time around, the footage has the yet to be introduced successor to the Veyron practicing some runs in a convoy with a range of different supercars – including its predecessor, the Porsche 918 Spyder or the recently introduced Lambo Huracan. We recently told you Bugatti’s Christmas postcard teases yet again the upcoming Chiron and this time around the model is playing tag with a range of supercars, included among them the very high-tech BMW i8. The reasons for the Bugatti testing with other supercars is pretty obvious and self-explanatory – it’s only natural for the engineers to want to know how the model stacks up against the models that owners might have in their garage as well.
We already know from official sources that 100 of the Chirons have been already betrothed to upcoming owners and the automaker will reveal it in front of a live audience in Geneva. We’re thus rooting for an online reveal a few weeks ahead and we can also say the latest rumors point to a mighty power under the hood. The modified quad-turbo 8.0-liter W16 engine should pack 1,500 hp (1,119 kW) and a mighty 1,107 lb-ft (1,500 Nm) maximum torque.
