The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe and Corvette Stingray Convertible have been recently brought to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, in its two body styles, coupe and convertible, aren’t a surprise for anyone anymore as the vehicles have already been presented to the public during the most important automotive events across the globe, this year, and the newest event to host the two sports cars is the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe and Corvette Stingray Convertible are powered by the same engine, an LT1 6.2 liter V8, which is producing a total output of 455 HP (335 kW) at 6,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 623 Nm (460 lb-ft), available at 4,600 rpm, in the Coupe. The drop-top is getting 450 HP (331 kW) and 609 Nm of torque (450 lb-ft). Both vehicles are coming with a seven-speed transmission, sending power to the rear-wheel drive.
