The Koenigsegg One:! Has been taken recently to Japan where such an example of the vehicle was seen on the Suzuka raceway, taking a lap.
It may have been introduced quite some time ago but this still remains the first and only production “megacar” out there so its every appearance matters and it is well “documented”. We’re talking about the Koenigsegg One:1 which is the subject of a few videos which have ended up onto the web recently. The impressive ride has been taken to Japan where it made a few laps on the famous Suzuka raceway.
Rumor has it that one of the main reasons for the megacar going around the Suzuka raceway is to start the development of the so-called “Suzuka package”, which will become available for future Koenigsegg owners. It currently remains unclear what this package will bring but it will be on its best setup for the famous Japanese raceway. As you already know by now, the Koenigsegg One:1 is taking its power from a 5.0 liter twin turbocharged V8 engine, which is capable of producing a whopping 1,341 HP (986 kW) and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque. This is allowing the megacar to go all the way up to an impressive top speed of 450 km/h, making it faster than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. The new Suzuka package might make it even more powerful and let’s not forget that its name, the One:1, is coming from its power-to-weight ratio.
