A new video with the recently unveiled Lamborghini Asterion is showing the one-off hybrid supercar live in Paris, with Winkelmann speaking about it.
A new report published recently is telling us that we probably will not see a but the clip posted below is suggesting the opposite. It will seem logical that the Asterion will hit the assembly line in the nearby future, considering the fact that the competition is one step ahead, with models such as the LaFerrari, the P1 or the 918 Spyder, but this is probably just a marketing scheme pulled by Lamborghini from its sleeve, until we will see the final product probably next year, in Geneva.
The Lamborghini Asterion has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, last week, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The supercar has a 5.2 liter V10 engine under its hood, the same one as the Huracan, and this is backed up by three electric motors, with 300 HP. The petrol burner is rated at 610 HP and the total output produced by the hybrid assembly stands at 910 HP (669 kW), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration made in 3 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
