The brand new Lamborghini Cabrera has been recently spotted on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, where it was being tested.
The Italian based automaker is currently testing the successor of the Lamborghini Gallardo on the Nurburgring. The model has been caught testing on the track recently so if you want to see it in action, all you have to do is scroll down and click play. The Lamborghini Cabrera is getting ready to storm the market probably sometimes next year but the supercar in question will have the tough job of become better than the Gallardo which, even if it has been in production for 10 years, it remains one of the best vehicles in its class on the market.
Power to the Lamborghini Cabrera is expected to be provided by a 5.2 liter V10 engine, which has been tweaked and it’s now able to produce approximately 600 HP (447 kW). The unit will be mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which will allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in approximately 3.2 seconds, while top speed will stand at 300 km/h (186 mph). The total weight of the Cabrera should be less than 1,500 kg (3,306 lbs). The Cabrera will underpin the next generation of the Audi R8 too.
