The Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse has been officially unveiled during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and it was the star of the Italian based automaker at the automotive event.
After it was officially introduced to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, just earlier this week, in a world premiere, the brand new Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, which is showing the model live at the automotive event. The footage posted below is actually showing the whole Lamborghini stand at Frankfurt but the company’s star is definitely the Gallardo Squadra Corse.
The Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo and it’s coming with the quick release engine cover, prominent rear wing, carbon ceramic brakes and more. The model has an Alcantara wrapped dashboard, carbon fiber trim in the cabin, lightweight racing seats and it’s weight has been dropped by 70 kg (154 lbs) to 1,340 kg (2,954 lbs). The V10 engine found under its hood is good for 570 HP (419 kW) and this is mated to a six-speed e-gear transmission, sending power to the AWD. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3.4 seconds and top speed is 320 km/h (199 mph).
