A video with the official introduction of the brand new Lamborghini Huracan Spyder has been released by the carmaker.
If you happen to have missed out on the official presentation of the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, don’t worry, because the Sant’Agata Bolognese based has gotten you covered with the video posted below. The clip is showing the introduction of the new supercar and the statement made shortly after by the company’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann.
The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is following the footsteps of the solid roof version except for the lightweight soft top which can be dropped in just 17 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph. The lightweight body shell is 40 percent stiffer compared to the one of the Gallardo Spyder and the model is said to be extremely precise, losing very little over the coupe. The supercar has a mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout and the 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine found under its hood. This is capable of producing a total of 602 HP (449 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft), sent to the AWD system through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder needs 3.4 seconds, 0.2 seconds more compared to its solid roof brother. The pricing of the supercar has been set at 186,450 euros and the first deliveries will begin in spring, next year.
