The high-performance vehicles made by Lexus are being highlighted by a brand new video which has been released by the car manufacturer.
Lexus Japan has released a brand new video with its high performance models. The clip posted below is showing the RC F and the LFA drift around the Fuji Speedway and it is representative to the Japanese culture. Expect several high performance models, all of them finished in white, a lot of tires destroyed and some piano music combined with the sound of the engines, so don’t forget to plug in your headphones before clicking the play button.
The Lexus RC F is one hot ride to own but it is sometimes forgotten due to one major German competitor. This is packing a 5.0 liter V8 engine under its hood, which is capable of producing a total output of 467 HP (348 kW) and 526 Nm (389 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and top hit an electronically limited top speed of 273 km/h (170 mph).
The star of the clip, the Lexus LFA, has left production a few years back. It was carrying a 4.8 liter V10 engine under its hood, with 560 HP (412 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. This was connected to a 6-speed sequential transmission, operated with paddle shifters. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration was made in 3.7s and top speed was 325 km/h (202 mph).
