The new Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has managed to do a complete lap time of 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds of the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit.
The North American based automaker Chevrolet has managed to lap the Nurburgring in just 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds, which represents an extremely fast time for an American muscle car, which managed to become faster on the Nordschleife than vehicles like the Ferrari 458 Italia (7:38), the Porsche 911 Carrera S 991 (7:37.9) or even the Lexus LFA (7.38.85). The brand new 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been re-engineered and has drop some significant weight. The chassis of the muscle car has been stiffened and thinner glass has been used on the rear window. The model has no standard air conditioning, which is available only as an option and only one audio speaker, which is required to provide the door chime. The Camaro Z/28 is powered y a 7.0 liter V8 engine, which is producing total output of 377 kW, sent to the rear-wheel drive through a 6-speed transmission. Carbon ceramic brakes are standard.
