The brand new Jaguar Project 7 has been recently brought to the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the roadster has made its public debut.
The British based automaker Jaguar has managed to attract a lot of curious eyes with its latest creation, the Project 7, which was recently unveiled during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model in question is a one-off ride which is celebrating the company’s seven victories between 1951 and 990 at Le Mans.
The Jaguar Project 7 is based on the new F-Type sports car and it was created in just four months. Power to the model is being provided by a 5.0 liter V8 supercharged engine, the same one found under the hood of the top of the line F-Type, which is producing a total output of 550 HP (405 kW) and it has a peak torque of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). The unit is mated to an eight-speed Quickshift transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.2 seconds and top speed stands at 300 km/h (186 mph). You can check out the newest Project 7 video below.
