The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently released a new video with the 2014 S-Class in which the luxurious model’s development process is being shown.
After it was officially unveiled just a few months ago, the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video, which is showing the model’s development process, so if you’re into this creation, design and manufacturing part of a car, you should better scroll down and click play.
As a quick reminder, the new generation of the S-Class is 5,116 mm long, 1,899 mm wide and 1,483 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,035 mm. The long wheelbase version will be 5,246 mm long and it will ride on a 3,165 mm wheelbase. The model is getting the 3.0L V6 with 258 HP and 620 Nm of torque in the S350 BlueTEC. The model is also sold as the S500, with a 4.7L V8 with 455 HP and 700 Nm of torque. The S300 BlueTEC Hybrid is getting a 2.1L unit with 204 HP and the S400 Hybrid has a hybridized 3.5L V6 with 306 HP.
