Porsche has released a new video with the Macan in which the crossover is being shown in action at the test track in Weissach.
The German based automaker is placing the new Porsche Macan into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video. The clop posted below is showing the most powerful version of the Macan, the Macan Turbo, in action, at the test track in Weissach. The company is trying to highlight the driving fun offered by the model and it’s being presented as a perfect vehicle for the track, despite its crossover body style.
The Porsche Macan Turbo will be the top of the line version of the model. This will pack a 3.6 liter twin turbo V6 engine, which will produce a total output of 500 HP (294 kW) and it will have a peak torque of 500 Nm (405 lb-ft). This will be enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 4.8 seconds and a 269 km/h (167 mph) top speed. Other units available for the Porsche Macan will include the 340 HP 3.0L V6 or the 258 HP turbo diesel with 258 HP. More details on the model will be announced during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, where it will be officially unveiled.
