The world’s fastest Toyota Supra has been recently spotted in action on a drag strip where it managed to shatter a lot of speed records.
The Toyota Supra may be long gone but when speaking about speed freaks and modified rides, you simply cannot leave it out of the question as this is probably the most tuned out vehicle in the world, still. And speaking about “the most… in the world”, we couldn’t stay aside when coming across a video which is showing an impressively modified Supra on a drag strip. The vehicle in question managed to do the quarter mile in just 6.05 seconds, at a speed of 240 mph (387 km/h).
We’re not sure what engine / engines this particular Toyota Supra is using but we will remind you that the original car came with a 3,0 liter unit, naturally aspirated, producing 220 HP (164 kW) and 280 Nm (210 lb-ft) of torque, or with the twin turbo 3.0L with its 276 HP (206 kW) and 431 Nm (318 lb-ft) of torque. The engines were connected to a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Production of the Supra ended back in 2002.
