Donuts and burnouts seem to be the Ferrari LaFerrari’s special and such a hypercar has been recently filmed while burning its rear tires inside.
It’s not like we get to see everyday a very rare, expensive and powerful hypercar do some donuts, especially inside, so this video is more than welcomed. Don’t expect the usual high speed driving but this is still a good way to make sure those rear tires will be changed. Scroll down and click the play button in order to see this particular Ferrari LaFerrari in action. The clip has been filmed in an aircraft hangar, at Brutingthorpe, during the SupercarDriver’s Secret Meet event.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is using a 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, rated at 789 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, backed up by an electric motor, with 161 HP (120 kW). The total output sent to the rear wheels, through the 7-speed dual clutch transmission, is 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the hypercar needs less than 3 seconds and it can reach 200 km/h (124 mph) from a standstill in less than 11 seconds. 300 km/h (186 mph) can be achieved in 15 seconds and the top speed stands at more than 350 km/h (217 mph). The Ferrari LaFerrari is the company’s first ever hybrid model and it has been officially unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Only 499 units will be put together and all of them have been sold out.
