Not one but two Ferrari 458 Speciale A have been spotted in Monaco taking a cruise, start up and revving their engines.
Sure, the Ferrari 488 GTB may be here but we simply cannot forget the 458, its predecessor, and especially its range-topping version the 458 Speciale. Two units of the above mentioned ride, in the Aperta version, or the Spider as you’re probably more familiar with, have been spotted in Monte Carlo. The video posted below is showing them from different angles sitting quietly in a parking lot, taking a small cruise, starting up and revving their engines so Ferrari fans may want to scroll down and click the play button, but not before plugging in their headphones.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale has been introduced back in 2013, at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This is the range-topping version of the 458 Italia, a reminder of the 360 Challenge and F430 Scuderia. The 458 Speciale A (Aperta) is the drop top version of the model and it is limited to just 499 units. Both supercars are sharing the same 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 605 HP (445 kW), in this case, and a peak torque of 540 Nm (398 lb-ft). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 3 secodns and it can reach 200 km/h (124 mph) from a standstill in 9.1 seconds. The retractable hardtop can be folded or raised in 14 seconds.
