Skoda has recently released a new promotional video with the five-door Citigo model, this time highlighting its safety features.
How important is road safety for young drivers? Well the Czech based automaker Skoda is balancing youngsters’ need for road safety and the Citigo’s safety features in what came out to be a pretty interesting commercial. This isn’t actually the first promotional video with the five-door Skoda Citigo and the car manufacturer has released a previous one, starring singer Anastacia, in May.
The Skoda Citigo is based on the Volkswagen Up!, just like the Seat Mii, and its starting price in Europe is just over 9,000 euros, depending on its market. The entry-level five-door version of the Skoda Citigo is coming with four airbags, ABS, ESP and a five-star EuroNCAP rating. Across Europe, the Skoda Citigo is available in three trim levels, the Active, the Ambition and the Elegance, and the cheapest one has a digital display, immobilizer, folding rear seats, Isofix, Servotronic and many more.
Power to the Skoda Citigo is being provided by a 1.0 liter engine which is coming in two outputs, 60 BHP and 75 BHP, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Skoda Citigo has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, earlier this year, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
