Skoda has released some new details on the new Octavia Scout, which has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
If the brand new Skoda Octavia Scout is what you have your eyes onto, than you should be glad to find out that the model in question is just one month from going on sale, as it will become available for its future customers this August. The vehicle has been based on the Octavia Combi and it’s coming with the rough-road package, with some underbody protection, with aluminum effect roof railings, with the silver off-road attachment, the Scout badge on the radiator grille, black plastic mouldings for the front and rear bumpers and for the side skirts and some other tweaks.
The suspension system of the new Skoda Octavia Scout has been raised by 171 mm and the vehicle is riding on 17-inch alloy wheels, which have been wrapped in 220/50 tires. The interior design of the car is getting the black or black/brown color combination and the boot volume stands at 610 liters, but it can reach 1,740 liters, with the rear seats folded. The engine lineup includes the 2.0 TDI with 184 HP (135 kW), mated to a 6-speed DSG and coming with AWD, the 2.0 TDI with 150 HP (110 kW) with a manual 6-speed and the 1.8 TSI with 180 HP (132 kW) with a 6-speed DSG. No pricing details have been announced yet.
