The brand new Skoda Fabia R5 rally car is the star of a new teaser video which is showing us some impressive driving of the racer.
The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently released the third teaser with the brand new Fabia R5 rally car. The model in question is still shown with its camouflaged body but it is easy to imagine how it may look like once it will be officially unveiled, considering the fact that it is the successor of the popular S2000 and it is based on the new generation of the model.
The new Skoda Fabia R5 is shown with a beefier body, despite the camouflage, and we can see the raised suspension system, the central exhaust system, the roof scoop or the rally-spec wheels. The model will get a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine under its hood, which will be connected to the four-wheel drive system, in order to meet FIA’s regulations. Another regulation says that the car has to have a minimum weight of 1,230 kg (2,711 lbs). The Skoda Fabia R5 will be officially presented to the public during the Essen Motor Show, on the 29th of November.
