Skoda has recently released the first promotional video with the new Rapid model for Europe.
After it was officially presented to the public just a day before writing this article, the Skoda Rapid is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the Czech based automaker releasing the first promotional video with the model for the Old Continent. The first commercial with the Skoda Rapid in Europe is revealing some driving footage with the model which will be aimed at young families looking for a cheap vehicle, as the company has initially announced.
As a quick reminder, the Skoda Rapid is 4.48 meters long and 1,7 meters wide, and the model will be slotted between the Fabia and the Octavia models once it will hit the market in Europe at the end of this year. The Skoda Rapid will be offered on the Old Continent with a choice of seven engines at first, five petrol and two diesels, including the 1.2 liter TSI engine from VW in two outputs, 85 HP and 105 HP, the 1.4 liter TSI with 122 HP, the 1.6 liter TSI with 105 HP and the 2.0 liter TDI with 140 HP. The Skoda Rapid will be launched in Europe in late 2012.
