The Skoda Rapid has been caught on camera while it was being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, for the second time.
While the Czech based automaker is trying to keep the Skoda Rapid in its European version a secret and it’s releasing teaser images with it every couple of days, the vehicle’s design is no long a surprise for anyone and the model can be seen undisguised all over the web. The latest video with the Skoda Rapid, which isn’t what you may call “official”, is coming from the Nurburgring, where the new Czech sedan has been caught testing, ahead of its European launch, which has been set for late 2012.
As a quick reminder, the Skoda Rapid has been previewed back in 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, as the Skoda MissionL, and the model is already available in India, where it’s also being assembled, and its production has also started not that long ago in China. The Skoda Rapid is 4,39 meters long, 1,70 meters wide and 1,40 meters tall and on the Indian auto market is coming with two engines, both of them with the 1.6 liter displacement, a petrol burner and a diesel, developing just over 100 horsepower. More details on the Skoda Rapid in Europe will be announced later on this year.
