The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently released a new commercial video for the Yeti where Xzibit is doing everything “Pimp My Ride” style.
As you can see from the video posted below, the Skoda Yeti is “playing the role” of a modified vehicle in the customer’s eyes and after destroying his wrecked car, Xzibit and his “team” are replacing it with a Yeti, throwing in a couple of joke on the way. After the video ends, you can see the “Czech Coast Customs” logo, which is another joke because the Pimp My Ride shop’s real name is West Coast Customs. And to finish in a “great” way, Skoda vehicles aren’t being sold in the United States.
As a small reminder, the Skoda Yeti is a five-door five-seater compact SUV made by the VW sub-brand. The Yeti was officially presented to the public back in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show, being the company’s first entry into the SUV market. The Skoda Yeti is currently being assembled in the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Russia and it’s coming with a choice of four engines and three transmissions. The Yeti is 4,223 mm long, 1,782 mm wide and 1,691 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,578 mm and a total weight of 1,520-1,545 kg.
