Smart has released a new teaser video in which the main roles are being played by the next-gen ForTwo and ForFour models.
Those of you looking into the next generation of the Smart ForTwo and ForFour will have to wait a little longer before getting your hands on your new rides as the car manufacturer is planning to officially start the deliveries this autumn. But before the order books will be opened, here we have to chance to see some bits and pieces of the above mentioned models in the clip posted right after the jump.
The brand new Renault Twingo will be serving as a starting point in the development of the next ForTwo and ForFour as 70 percent of the components will be shared between them. This will also include the 3-cylinder 1.0 liter naturally aspirated unit, with 70 HP (51 kW) and 91 HP (67 kW), along with the 0.9L turbocharged unit, with its 90 HP (66 kW) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft) of torque. Rumors are saying that the two models will be unveiled on the 16th of July but it seems that the first deliveries will begin in September. However, order books are said to be open on the 31st of July.
