A Nurburgring Nordschleife prototype spotter has managed to capture a neat video with the all-new Lamborghini Huracan version being currently tested, believed to be the new Superleggera installment.
The tipper was present during the Nordschleife prototype testing session – which is when the automakers get dibs on the track and make their way with the latest prototypes and stuff, without fearing a loose cannon from the public could ruin the vehicles worth millions. The spotter said the Huracan being trialed there sounds even meaner in person – and we have the tendency to believe him – just crank up the volume when you’re watching the video below. We already know Lamborghini likes to do some of the things “wrong” for every model launch – this way they have the possibility to make them “right” with models such as the Superleggera and Super Trofeo Stradale.
Probably a year from now, we’ll start packing in the videos with the Huracan SV making do with the competition on and off the track. But for now, it’s still in development – along with its classic naturally aspirated V10 engine. After the introduction it will be very interesting to see it battle the Italian war with the 488 GTB, which has now gone down the downsizing turbo route. For now, as far as we can see, we think the Huracan SV is going to come in not only lighter, but also more aerodynamic. And add on top of that another 10 to 20 hp they could easily commend from the engine and we’ll bet everyone will be looking it as the new poster boy of the supercar community.
