The Spanish division of Subaru has just released a new video with the BRZ in the Gymkhana style.
When it comes to the Subaru BRZ we have seen them all, we have seen its unveiling, we have seen its awards won, its many concept version, its tuning packages and we are now getting ready to see its convertible version. But what we haven’t seen until now was a Gymkhana video. The Subaru BRZ Gymkhana video has been made by Subaru Spain and it’s quite an interesting footage where the advantages of the rear-wheel drive are being highlighted. We won’t say anything more on this because we don’t want to ruin it for you.
The Subaru BRZ is powered by a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine, the same unit found on the Toyota GT 86 and on the Scion FR-S, fitted with Toyota’s D-4S direct injection system. The total output developed by the unit is 200 horsepower, available at 7,000 rpm, and 151 lb-ft of torque at 6,600 rpm. The engine can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission in standard or to a six-speed automatic, which is available as an option. The Subaru BRZ is available in most markets across the world, along with the Toyota GT 86 and its over-seas sister, the Scion FR-S.
