Subaru has recently introduced the Legacy STI in Japan, where the model will be available in a limited production with some interesting features.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the Subaru Legacy has recently received the STI treatment on its local auto market, where the model is now available for order by its future customers who will have to pay 3,360,000 yen before being able to put their hands on it. But before paying the amount mentioned above, people interested in the Subaru Legacy STI in Japan will have to hurry up because only 300 units of the model will be available.
The Subaru Legacy STI is available as a sedan or as a wagon and the model can be distinguished by its front and rear bumpers, by the sports exhaust system or by the 18-inch alloy wheels. Leather / Alcantara has been added to the cabin, along with a leather wrapped steering wheel, titanium gray tim, red contrast stitching, STI badges, push-button ignition and more. Power to the Subaru Legacy STI is being provided by a 2.5 liter four-cylinder boxer engine, which is producing a total output of 173 HP (127 kW) and it has a peak torque of 235 Nm (173 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a CVT sending power to the all-wheel drive system.
