The Japanese based automaker Subaru has recently released the first video presentation with the brand new XV Crosstrek Hybrid.
After it was announced for the 2013 New York Auto Show, just a few hours ago, where it will make its public debut, the brand new Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, which is showing the model in action. The Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid should bring what’s best out of both worlds, combining the abilities of a crossover which actually works off-road, with the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions provided by the addition of an electric motor.
The Subaru XV Crosstrek is the most fuel-efficient and lowest-emitting AWD hybrid crossover in the United States, as the company is saying in the video posted below. Power to the model is being provided by a four-cylinder Boxer engine, helped by an electric motor and a battery pack, a combination which can improve the standard 7.0 L / 100 km fuel efficiency and the 162 g/km emitted. Additional details on the Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid will be announced during the 2013 New York Auto Show, on the 27th of March.
