[Video] Take a 360-degree video spin on the track with the Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid image

Here’s some footage – in nice 360-degree form additionally – that shows how hybrids can be fun and interesting if you have the right model and setting – yes, a Porsche and a barren track.

Porsche will soon deliver the production version of the seemingly green and interesting Mission E concept but before the future is here let’s take a look at what the brand has to offer on the eco side. Err, in this particular footage we’re pretty sure the all-new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid won’t be achieving the promised 3.1 liters / 100 km in the New European Driving Circle. Nor will it go for 31 miles – 50 km – on electricity alone on the race track. This is because we’re talking about how fast the fourth member of the family (4S, 4S Diesel and Turbo) can go.

Porsche has come up with a 360-degree video of the hybridized Panamera while going out for fun on the company’s Leipzig test track in Germany. The all-new biturbo 2.9-liter V6 engine provides the soundtrack, while the electric motor in the 4 E-Hybrid will be there to deliver a combined output of 462 horsepower (340 kilowatts) and 517 pound-feet (700 Newton-meters). This enables a 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint lasting just 4.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 173 mph (278 km/h).
