One of the main attractions of the 2015 North American Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit is currently the new generation of the Ford GT, which has managed to attract a lot of curious eyes onto it. The supercar has made its world debut at the event so checking it out in a video up-close should be worth mentioning especially because at the end of it, you can hear the model’s engine.

The 2017 Ford GT pictured below is in its final production version, but if you are looking for such a model to add to your collection, you should know that production will begin close to the end of 2016, which basically is making it a 2017 model year. The supercar is coming with an evolutionary design , with revised graphics and lighting units and several other tweaks which should be enough to put some distance between it and its predecessor.

Ford says that under the hood of the new GT generation, we can find a twin turbo V6 engine, which is capable of producing no less than 600 HP (447 kW). Power will be sent to the rear axle through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. More details on the new Ford GT are limited at this time and will probably be announced close to its launch.
