The Ford GT has been placed into the spotlights once again and this time the carmaker has nothing to do with it. The video posted below has been signed by the guys from XCAR and once you have decided to scroll down and click the play button, you will hear a lot of comparisons. Footage of the original racing car is also shown in this clip, along with some refereeing made to its predecessor.
The North American based automaker Ford has made the European premiere of the new GT during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The supercar will be hitting the production line sometimes in 2016 and it will be offered as a 2017 model year, ready to take on some expensive rivals made by McLaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari. It has a mid-mounted V6 turbocharged engine under its hood, which is capable of putting down more than 700 HP, according to some rumors, sent to the rear-wheel drive through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. No one outside the company currently knows details like the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time or the top speed because the blue oval hasn’t released them just yet.
