Famous racing driver and TV show host Tanner Foust has recently went for a spin in the new Ford Fiesta ST on the Nurburgring.
Tanner Foust fans are in the right place because the Top Gear U.S. presenter has recent taken the brand new Ford Fiesta ST on the Nurburgring. The model in question has recently entered production in Cologne, Germany, where it’s being assembled in both right- and left-hand drive, coming with features like the cloth Recaro seats, DAB radio, front fog lights and 17-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
The new Ford Fiesta ST is powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 180 HP (132 kW) and it has a peak torque of 240 Nm (177 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in the B-segment hot hatch takes 6.9 seconds and top speed stands at 220 km/h (137 mph).
