The upcoming generation of the BMW 7-Series has been teased once again as it will be officially unveiled, over the web, on the 10th of June.
In case you have been missing out on the future generation of the BMW 7-Series, don’t worry, because the carmaker hasn’t forgotten about it and, in fact, it is just a few days away from its online reveal. The luxury cruiser, which will be going up against the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, will be losing up to 130 kg from its total weight thanks to the use of CFRP and it will be getting the new BMW Display Key, which will allow owners to maneuver the vehicle in and out of parking spaces or garages without anyone behind the wheel.
The 2016 BMW 7-Series will also be coming with the gesture control technology and with the touchscreen display for the iDrive infotainment system. As far as its exterior design goes, this will be getting the prominent front grille which will be flanked by the laserlight headlights, the front fender vents, the slender taillights with the integrated chrome trim and an overall look which will “scream” evolutionary. A new generation of six-cylinder engines will be found under its hood, along with the 8-speed Steptronic transmission and the two-axle air suspension with automatic self-leveling. Additional details on the new generation of the BMW 7-Series are limited for the moment and will be announced on the 10th of June, when this will be officially unveiled.
