McLaren has released the first teaser video with the upcoming 675LT which will be officially presented to the public in Geneva, this March.
McLaren is getting ready to introduce a hotter version of the current 650S, which will be aimed towards purists, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The announcement has been officially made last week by the company and now we get to see the first ever teaser video for the model, which has been recently released. The clip posted below isn’t showing anything interesting and it is actually aimed onto helping us remember the debut of the supercar during the Swiss automotive event.
The brand new McLaren 675LT (Long Tail) is promising to be lighter, quicker and more powerful compared to the current 675S. The model in question will be getting the longtail treatment and it will get optimized aerodynamics, boosted downforce and a weight loss. The same 3.8 liter V8 twin turbo engine will be found under its hood, which will be updated and thanks to this the total output of the unit will now be standing in at 675 HP (496 kW). The McLaren 675LT will be a tribute to the 1997 F1 GTR Long Tail and it will be getting approximately 100 kg in weight loss and new side air intakes. More details on the upcoming supercar are actually limited at this time and will be announced during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, once this will be officially opening its gates for the media, in March.
