The Mercedes-AMG GT is the successor of the SLS AMG, despite being smaller, lighter, less powerful and cheaper. The model is offered in two versions, the AMG GT and the AMG GT S, both of them taking power from the same 4.4 liter biturbo V8 engine. The range-topping variant, the AMG GT S, has 503 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 3.8s and a top speed of 310 km/h (190 mph).

The Tesla Model S P85d on the other hand is an electric sedan, which is coming with an electric motor in the front, rated at 211 HP and another one in the rear, generating 470 HP. The total output of the car stands at 691 HP (515 kW) and 930 Nm (687 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this needs 3.3 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
