The Tesla Model S and the BMW M5 have been recently put together by Automobile Magazine and what came out of that can be seen in the video posted below.
Have you ever wondered which is faster between a Tesla Model S and a BMW M5? Well the guys at Automobile Magazine have and you won’t believe the result. On paper, the BMW M5 can reach 60 mph from a standstill in just 4.2 seconds with its seven-speed dual clutch transmission while the Tesla Model S Signature Performance Edition needs 4.4 seconds for that, but what happens in reality is quite different.
As a quick reminder, the BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total outout of 560 HP and 500 lb-ft of torque, while the battery-operated sedan is only generating 416 HP and 443 lb-ft of torque. It looks like the battle is already lost by the Tesla Model S and the BMW M5 should start celebrating yet another victory. But what if it didn’t?
