Ferrari has released a new video in which it is revealing how they shot the promo for the recently unveiled 488 GTB.
The newest Italian supercar to come out of Maranello is called the Ferrari 488 GTB and this is a replacement for the popular 458 Italia. The model in question is not a completely new successor but more of a facelifted version, following the same footsteps as the California and the California T. The supercar is now returning in a new clip, released by the company, in which the filming for its promotional video is being highlighted, so make sure you scroll down and check it out.
The brand new Ferrari 488 GTB has received the same familiar design on its exterior but we can notice the new wider front spoiler, the bigger air intakes, the new diffuser, the new design for the LED taillights and several other tweaks. The car manufacturer has decided to drop the 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine which was used on the 458 lineup in favor of a brand new 3.9 liter twin turbo V8. This will be opening a new era in turbocharging for Ferrari and it is capable of producing no less than 670 HP (493 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needs just 3 seconds and top speed is 330 km/h (205 mph).
