Citroen has released a new video with the recently unveiled Aircross Concept in which the one-off model is shown in its creation process.

If you happen to fancy the brand new Citroen Aircross Concept and you would like to find out more about it, then you have come to the right place because the French based automaker has recently released a new video with it. The clip, which has been posted below, right after the jump, is showing some of the creation process for the one-off vehicle as work has started onto it in early 2014, when the first interior and exterior design sketches have been finished by designers. The full scale clay model was shown in June the same year and work on the chassis began in September. The assembly took place in December.

The brand new Citroen Aircross Concept has been unveiled over the web a few weeks back. The model in question is larger than the current C4 Cactus and it stands at 4,580 mm in length, 2,100 mm in width and 1,800 mm in height, with large 22-inch alloy wheels, “alloy bumps” which have been made from honeycomb aluminum casings with hard rubber surrounding them, improved aerodynamics and an appealing red orange paint. The interior design is bringing rear hinged doors, 12-inch hi-def screens, speakers and a microphone in each seat. Power is being provided by a 1.6 liter front mounted gasoline burner, with 218 HP and 203 lb-ft of torque, along with a rear mounted electric motor with 95 HP and 148 lb-ft. The battery, which is lithium-ion, can fully recharged from a regular household socket in 3.5 hours, the total electric range stands at 50 km (31 miles) and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 4.5s.
