[VIDEO] This is how you scratch a McLaren P1 with a wire brush image

Selling brand new products depends very much on the marketing scheme adopted and what better way to make a protection wrap foil known than by using it on an impressive hypercar.

The model in question is a McLaren P1 which has been wrapped in this protection foil. The video posted below may surprise you because the company is actually proving how good the foil is by scratching it with a wire brush. You can instantly see the damages made but the solution for them going away is simple, warm water or warm blown air. Be warned, don’t click the play button if you have an obsession with cars because you may end up ordering this protection wraps too.

The vehicle used is the most powerful road-legal car to be signed by McLaren and also its first ever hybrid, the P1. This has been shown back in 2013, during the Geneva Motor Show, in its final production form, and it is currently being put together in Woking, Surrey, England. The carmaker will produce 375 units of the hypercar and all of them are offered with the two-door coupe body style. The P1 has a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, making use of a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 and an electric motor. The total output produced is 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 2.8 seconds and a top speed limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
