The largest Lamborghini Aventador gathering in the world has been hosted recently by Lamborghini Newport Beach.
Lamborghini Newport Beach has hosted the annual LP-700 VIP Event as more than 30 supercars have showed up for the event. This has covered almost every color and specification imaginable and the overall value of the vehicles present stood at around 15 million USD. The Aventador is one of the best selling supercars ever produced by Lamborghini and, despite carrying a base price of 400,000 USD, soon after it has been announced, the company said that the 12 months worth of production vehicles has been already sold out.
The Lamborghini Aventador has replaced the Murcielago and it has been in production since 2011. The model in question is being put together in Sant’Agata Bolognese and offered in two body styles, two-door coupe and two-door roadster. This has a mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout and it is the flagship model of the company. Power is being provided by a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, rated at 690 HP (510 kW) and 690 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 3 seconds and the supercar can reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
