After releasing a commercial promoting the new generation of the A6 in the United States and mocking the American driving style, Audi decided it’s time to promote their A8 luxury sedan in the same auto market with the “help” of three new commercials for a total of 99 seconds.
The German car manufacturer is playing on a whole new level with the A8 emphasizing its greatness from the European kind of humor that will definitely appeal to every possible consumer and the marketing campaign might just work compared to the A6 commercial that apparently tries to bend the rules a bit too much.
The most awaited version of the new A8 is definitely the Hybrid presented by Audi at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show that takes its power from a 2.0 liter TFSI engine and an electric motor, delivering a total output of 245 HP and 480 Nm of torque, being able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds with a top speed of 235 km/h, all of this with an average fuel consumption of just 6.4 liters / 100 km and CO2 emissions of 148 g/km.
Audi didn’t say when the new generation of the A8 Hybrid will arrive in the US but the powerful A8 L W12 is already available on the over-seas auto market.
