The famous Fifth Gear presenter Tiff Needell has recently took the Jaguar F-Type for a spin and he compared it to its main rival, the Porsche 911 Cabrio.

The newest sports car produced by Jaguar, the F-Type, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by the guys at Evo, and Tiff Needell especially, who has taken the model for a spin. The former racing driver has put the F-Type against its main rival, the Porsche 911 Cabrio, and if you’re curious to see what came out of this test, you can simply scroll down and click play.

As a quick reminder, the Jaguar F-Type, in its final production version, has been officially unveiled back in 2012. The model is available in three versions, the F-Type, the F-Type S and the F-Type V8, with the cheapest one being priced at 58,500 GBP in the United Kingdom. The F-Type is powered by a 3.0 liter engine, producing 340 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque. The F-Type S is getting the same engine, but with 380 HP, while the top of the line is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which is good for 495 HP and 460 Nm of torque. This will set you back for 79,950 GBP.
