General Motors factory racing driver Tommy Milner has recently taken the new Corvette Stingray for a spin on the track.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of an official video, which is showing the GM factory racing driver Tommy Milner taking the popular sports car for a lap on the Virginia International Raceway. The brand new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, with its 2014 model year, has been officially introduced earlier this year, during the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit, and, since then, the sports car has been taken to numerous automotive events across the globe. The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is taking its power from a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is good for 450 HP and 450 lb-ft. The unit is mated to either a 7-speed manual or to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The official fuel ratings of the model have been set at 16 / 28 mpg in city / highway for the automatic and 17 / 29 mpg for the manual gearbox.
