BBC has released the first video trailer with the upcoming Top Gear Patagonia Special, which will be this year’s Christmas Special and it will actually air on Christmas.
The fist video teaser with the upcoming Top Gear Patagonia Special has been recently released by BBC and this will air on BBC2 and BBC2 HD at 8:30 PM, on the 27th of December, in the first part, and the other one will be shown a day later, at 8:00 PM. This is the controversial Patagonia Special where the three famous presenters drove a Porsche 928, a Lotus Esprit and a Ford Mustang in South America.
The Porsche 928 driven by Jeremy Clarkson had the H982 FKL license plate, which is referring to the 1982 Falklands Islands war. The model has been chosen for two reasons, one, because Clarkson likes it, and two, because of its license plate. This has caused a huge stir in Argentina where the Top Gear crew had to abandon their cars and flee the country. The incident has happened a few months ago when Top Gear was filming in South America. The whole incident will probably be left aside from the Patagonia Special.
