Now, what we know about the LFA from Lexus: We know that will cost about 350.000 US Dollars, will be powered by a V10 4.8 Liter engine and will go on sale somewhere in 2012.
Only 500 total LFA models will be made worldwide, with only 20 produced each month. Each LFA will be hand-built by a dedicated production team of engineers and specialists at Toyota’s Motomatchi plant in Aichi, Japan. The Lexus LFA is powered by a 72° 4.8-liter V10 engine equipped with dual VVT-i carrying the 1LR-GUE designation with a maximum output of 552 bhp (412 kW) delivered at 8,700 rpm.
The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG: aluminium spaceframe body with gullwing doors, AMG 6.3-litre V8 front-mid engine developing 420 kW/ 571 hp peak output, 650 Nm of torque and dry sump lubrication, seven-speed dual-clutch transmission in a transaxle configuration, sports suspension with aluminium double wishbones and a kerb weight of 1620 kilograms based on the DIN standard.
Vauxhall VXR Insignia is the fastest ever Vauxhall . At the heart of the Insignia VXR is Vauxhall’s 2.8-litre V6 Turbo ECOTEC engine that helps produce 325PS 435 Nm torque. The engine uses a single, twin-scroll turbocharger and variable valve control for quick throttle response, and accelerates from 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds with a top speed of 155mph.
