Top Gear’s Season 15 Episode 6 is now available. On this episode: We have two great supercars under review: The Ferrari 458 Italia and Mercedes SLS Amg.
The 458 Italia was first unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September 2009, and costs around £170,000 (Base MSRP of $230,675 for US market). The Supercar is powered by a 4,499 ccV 8 engine derived from a shared Ferrari/Maserati design that has a total output of 570 PS (420 kW; 560 hp) at 9,000 rpm (redline) and 540 N·m (400 lb·ft) at 6,000 rpm. Connected via a Getrag dual-clutch 7-speed transmission, 458 Italia accelerares acording to ferrari to 100 km/h in 3.35 seconds, while top speed is over 325 km/h (202 mph).
However, on the last weeks, some problems have been unveiled. First we have 2 Ferrari’s 458 Italia under fire – one at Paris, and one in Switzerland, and, according to a Swiss Publication, the latest Ferrari 458 Italia is heavier with more than 500 pounds ( 200 kg ) than the number in the data sheet.

Talking about the Mercedes SLS AMG, well – this is an luxury grand tourer Supercar developed by Mercedes-Benz AMG to replace the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Unveiled for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show, SLS AMG costs €177,310 (including taxes).

Power: 571 PS (420 kW; 563 hp) at 6800 rpm
Torque: 650 N·m (480 lb·ft) at 4750 rpm
