One of the most famous automotive magazines out there, Top Gear, has recently went for a spin in the brand new Ferrari LaFerrari, the fastest ever production supercar developed in Maranello.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is the fastest ever production supercar developed by the company and this is also one of the hottest vehicles money can buy these days, along with the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder. The newest video with the Italian hybrid supercar is coming from Top Gear magazine, and it’s showing some brutal accelerations and some POV driving. This is probably just a teaser of what’s to come, but it’s still worth taking a look at it.
As you probably already know by now, the Ferrari LaFerrari has been in production since 2013 and it has been first seen in Geneva, during the automotive event taking place last year. This has a two-door Berlinetta body style and a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is provided by a 6.3 liter engine with 789 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, backed up by a HY-KERS (electric motor) with 161 HP (120 kW). The total output produced stands at 950 HP (708 kW) and more than 900 Nm (664 lb-ft).
At least 10 million vehicles were recalled by Toyota back in 2009 and 2010 for the “unintended acceleration” issue and so far GM has made 67 separate recall actions with almost 30 million vehicles due back in service.
