Toyota has released a new video with the GT 86, where the sports car is doing donuts in a parking lot.
The Japanese based automaker Toyota wanted to reveal how easy to drive and how light and yet full of grip is its latest creation, the GT 86, and what better way to highlight all of these than by presenting the sports car in a different way, while it’s doing donuts in a parking lot. There’s no doubt that the Toyota GT 86 will be a success worldwide, along with the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ, and I’m quite convinced that the model’s fans will appreciate the video posted below.
The Toyota GT 86 is powered by the same engine as the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S, the Subaru sourced 2.0 liter four-cylinder boxer engine, with the Toyota D-4S direct injection technology, which is generating a total output of 187 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) available at 6,600 rpm. Power is being sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, in standard, or through a six-speed automatic which will be offered as an option. In Europe, prices for the Toyota GT 86 start at just under 30,000 euros.
