Toyota has recently released a new commercial video with the GT 86 sports car which is showing some interesting driving footage of the model made as an animation.
The Toyota GT 86 is one of the hottest cars of the moment, along with its twin sister over-seas, the Scion FR-S, and the “competition” which really isn’t a competition, the Subaru BRZ, and not a day passes by without us writing about at least one of these three sports cars. The latest news is coming with a new video, in which Toyota is presenting us the GT 86 as an animation, but the cartoons eventually come to life, as most of our dreams do.
As a quick reminder, the Toyota GT 86 is powered by the same engine as the Subaru BRZ or the Scion FR-S, which is the 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol unit, borrowed by Subaru and fitted with the company’s D-4S direct injection. The petrol engine is developing a total output of 187 horsepower, at 7,000 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft), available at 6,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual in standard, or to a six-speed automatic, which will be available as an option.
