Toyota has recently launched a new presentation video for its GT 86 sports car in Italian, which means only one thing: that the model is getting ready to be launched in the European country.
After being launched in several markets in quite a few continents by now, time has come for the all-new Toyota GT 86 sports car to hit Italy, and even if we don’t exactly have a price list for the model just yet, the video posted below this article is the best proof. Toyota has chosen a unique way to promote its GT 86 sports car in Italy and we can say that the presentation is rather German than Japanese.
As a quick reminder, the Toyota GT 86 is powered by the same engine as the Subaru BRZ or the Scion FR-S, which is the 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol unit, borrowed by Subaru and fitted with the company’s D-4S direct injection. The petrol engine is developing a total output of 187 horsepower, at 7,000 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft), available at 6,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual in standard, or to a six-speed automatic, which will be available as an option.
